in Geneva, Sphinx Consulting is able to tap into a formidable amount of financial
professionals. Geneva is the birthplace of private banking and the heart of
the Swiss asset management sector.
75 banks (including 49 foreign-owned institutions) are active
in the business. Industry specialists estimate that approximately 40%
of the 3,000 billion CHF in assets managed in Switzerland are directly
or indirectly controlled from Geneva.
The partners of Sphinx Consulting have over 25 years experience in the marketing,
consulting and financial services industries. We know who the key players are
in the industry and we network with them on a constant basis.
In
our ongoing efforts to raise capital, we constantly contact the private banking
and institutional marketplace throughout Switzerland. Our monthly objective
is to contact, by telephone or in person, approximately 100 professionals with
whom we have had long-term relations. In Switzerland, personal meetings are
more productive with the money manager or client present.
Although we provide the contacts and schedule all the meetings, we prefer our
clients commit to traveling often for the first year of our relationship. After
that, Sphinx Consulting will continue to follow up on the client’s behalf.
